“Night Eating Syndrome.” Really, It Could be an Issue
Researchers at the University of Washington found a connection between night eating and type 2 diabetes. Briefly, if you consume more than 1/4 of your calories after dinner, you are 2 to 3 times more likely to develop diabetes.
Sound implausible? The underlying cause is thought to be emotional connections to eating, especially as a response to stress. The treatment is “cognitive behavioral therapy”.
