Meals Made Easy

A great way to continue your healthy lifestyle with the chaos of your busy lifestyle is with “make ahead” meals.  Through the hectic work-week into the usually just as hectic weekend, these pre-made meal ideas will help you stay on track.  No more running through the fast food drive through on your way home from work because don’t have time to cook, or more so, you don’t feel like it. 

Meals made ahead of time, as well as pre-planned, put you in control of your schedule.  Planning and preparing these meals ahead of time rewards you with a way to stay on track and prepare healthy and well balanced meals. 

There are a few ways to prepare your meals ahead of time.  You can put them together early, then keep them refrigerated until they are ready to be put into the oven.  Or you can completely prepare a meal, then freeze it until it is ready to be served.  This pre-planning can be done on one day, which makes you more likely to eat healthy meals and practice portion control.
